Eyebrow transplant cost in Turkey
As of September 2026, the indicative eyebrow transplant cost in Turkey on this page is 1,500-3,200 EUR for one session covering both brows. Graft number, donor area, design, density, anaesthesia and any touch-up or follow-up are confirmed after individual assessment.
Each month, Just Clinic Istanbul collects current prices / costs for eyebrow transplant procedures from 30 hospitals randomly selected from our partner network, listed on our Hospitals page. We compare equivalent treatment plans and publish the lowest and highest reported prices as a minimum–maximum range. They are a neutral, objective reference, not the price of a single hospital or clinic and not a personal offer from Just Clinic Istanbul.
The final written quote can vary with clinical complexity, technique, anaesthesia, facility arrangements, tests, medication, aftercare and follow-up. Anything not named in the written scope is outside the price. Offer-specific inclusions may include sedation when clinically appropriate after assessment, necessary prescribed pre- and post-operative medication, a professional first wash with medical foam, an orthopaedic neck pillow, and vitamins, shampoo, lotion and serum, used only as directed by the treating clinician for the treated area. These are not universal inclusions.

What is an eyebrow transplant?
Eyebrow transplantation restores sparse or missing brow hair by moving follicular grafts from a suitable donor area, usually the scalp, into the planned eyebrow shape. The defined plan on this page covers one session for both eyebrows. The graft number, donor method and design depend on your existing hair, skin and goals.
Transplanted scalp hair may continue to grow like scalp hair, so regular trimming can be needed. A transplant does not guarantee a particular density, colour, angle or permanent symmetry. The treating hospital or clinic handles appointments and communication and arranges practical services only where listed in the written offer; the named hair-restoration surgeon is responsible for assessment and treatment.
Who might consider brow restoration?
Patients may consider an eyebrow transplant after over-plucking, ageing, trauma, a scar or another stable cause of thinning. The consultation should cover when the loss started, whether it is progressing, previous brow procedures, tattoos or microblading, skin disease, medicines, smoking status and the density and texture of donor hair.
Active hair loss, inflammation, infection, an unexplained patch or a changing skin lesion needs medical assessment before cosmetic transplantation. A scarred recipient area may need to mature before grafting, and the surgeon may recommend another plan if donor hair is insufficient or expectations are unrealistic.
How is an eyebrow transplant planned?
Design: the surgeon maps the inner brow, arch, tail, direction and relationship between both brows before any grafts are taken.
Donor selection: hair with a suitable texture is selected from a donor area; availability and future donor supply limit what can be achieved.
Harvesting: individual extraction or another donor technique may be used according to the plan, leaving the donor area to heal.
Placement: usually single-hair grafts are placed into tiny recipient sites at a low, natural angle so that the brow does not look like clustered scalp hair.
The final design is an artistic and anatomical decision, not a package promise. Microblading, brow lift, a second transplant session and later cosmetic maintenance are outside this guide. Ask which donor technique, graft count and follow-up are included in writing.
Procedure time, anaesthetic and stay
One eyebrow-transplant session often takes around 3–6 hours, depending on graft number, donor technique and design. Local anaesthesia, sometimes with sedation, is commonly considered, with the clinician deciding what is appropriate.
Most limited sessions are day procedures, although observation depends on the technique and facility. The written quote should identify the surgeon, donor method, graft estimate, anaesthesia, clinic fees, tests if needed, dressings, medication, planned checks and discharge criteria.
Planning your stay in Istanbul
Arrange your trip around consultation, the session, donor and recipient checks and clearance to travel. UK NHS guidance advises avoiding flights for 5–7 days after procedures such as liposuction; an eyebrow transplant is different, so your clinician must set the safe interval and you should keep flights flexible.
Bring loose clothing that does not need to pass over the face and arrange help with luggage if required. Avoid rubbing the brows, strenuous exercise, swimming, heavy sun exposure and a tightly scheduled sightseeing programme during early healing.
Preparing for an eyebrow transplant
Share the cause and timeline of brow loss, previous plucking, trauma or scars, tattoos or microblading, skin conditions, medicines, supplements, allergies, smoking and prior healing problems.
Discuss the desired shape and density while accepting that donor supply, graft survival and natural asymmetry limit the result.
Send clear photographs if requested, while remembering that they do not replace examination of donor hair and recipient skin.
Follow instructions about smoking, alcohol, medicines and supplements. Never stop a prescribed blood thinner without clinical advice.
Avoid unapproved brow products and arrange help with luggage; bring gentle cleansing supplies recommended by the clinic.
Confirm washing, graft protection, trimming, exercise, sun exposure, follow-up and travel instructions before booking flights.
Recovery and follow-up
Small crusts, redness, swelling, bruising, itching and temporary shedding can occur around the recipient and donor areas. Protect the grafts from rubbing, pressure and sun, wash only as instructed and do not pick crusts or pull hairs during early healing.
Transplanted hairs may shed before new growth becomes visible, and the final result takes time. Because scalp hair can keep growing, trimming may be needed regularly. Graft survival, direction and density vary, and a second session is not included in this guide.
Possible complications include bleeding, infection, folliculitis, poor graft growth, unnatural angle or direction, asymmetry, visible scarring, altered sensation, donor depletion and an unsatisfactory cosmetic result. Contact the surgical team promptly about increasing redness, pus, fever, severe pain, heavy bleeding, sudden swelling or another unexpected symptom.
Questions from you
These notes answer questions people raise before they accept a written treatment plan. They describe what that plan should make clear. They are not a promise that any partner hospital uses a particular technique, device or payment arrangement. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
How much donor hair can safely be taken, and what reserve should remain?
The permanent donor zone is the hair at the back and sides that resists pattern loss. Capacity is not a follicle count per square centimetre on its own. Hair calibre, curl, the contrast between hair and scalp, and how much of that zone may later be exposed all belong in the written plan. Taking more than that zone can thin the donor area and make the small round FUE marks easier to see. A high graft slogan does not measure the reserve that is left. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Why is FUE, an implanter pen, or another approach being proposed?
ISHRS treats taking tissue from the donor area and making the recipient sites as separate surgical steps. FUE describes removing grafts one by one from the back or sides. DHI, or a Choi implanter, describes how a prepared graft is placed. It is not a second operation that replaces FUE. The written plan should name the harvest instrument and the placement instrument separately. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Who will diagnose, design, harvest, make the sites, place the grafts and follow up?
The ISHRS board statement revised on 13 July 2024 says that diagnosis, planning, donor harvesting, hairline design, recipient-site creation, management of medical problems and aftercare are to be done by a licensed physician trained in hair restoration. In some countries a physician assistant or nurse practitioner may work within the limits of that licence and under that physician’s supervision. ISHRS regards a surgical step performed by an unlicensed person as unethical. Graft placement is not a separate bullet in that list, so the written plan still has to name who places the grafts. Ongoing loss of your own hair does not cancel the transplant, and longer-term medical follow-up should be written down as well. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Will I need to style transplanted eyebrow hairs as well as trim them?
Possibly. Transplanted scalp hair may keep growing like scalp hair, so trimming can be needed. Some grafts may also need training with gel or wax to help them lie flat like eyebrow hair. Grooming needs vary with donor texture and the final direction and angle. Wait until your treating clinician says the area has healed enough before using styling products, and ask what routine is likely for your design. ISHRS eyebrow-restoration guidance.
Example wording from Estethica’s “Warranty Certificate”
The following is an example of wording in a hair-transplant certificate issued by Estethica. The graft-count placeholder is left blank, as it is in the supplied document:
With your consent and acceptance of the operation, your hair transplant operation was performed with ........ grafts and the operation got completed. As long as you fully fulfill all procedures correctly before and after surgery, you will not experience loss of any graft implanted. We guarantee that the number of grafts implanted are accurate and that the implanted hair will grow in a healthy way.
This quotation reproduces Estethica’s document wording and its statement is conditional on following the procedures before and after surgery. It is the issuer’s wording, not a guarantee by Just Clinic Istanbul or an unnamed clinic. It does not show that this certificate is included with, or applies to, any package discussed on this page. The supplied certificate does not state lifetime cover, a refund or free repeat surgery.
How much does an eyebrow transplant cost in Turkey in 2026?
+
The editorial guide range on this page is 1,500–3,200 EUR for one session for both eyebrows as of September 2026. Graft number, donor hair and the design affect the written quote.
Will transplanted eyebrow hair grow like normal eyebrow hair?
+
Scalp hair moved to the brow may continue growing like scalp hair, so regular trimming can be needed. The surgeon will explain the expected direction and maintenance.
Is microblading included in an eyebrow transplant?
+
No. Microblading and other cosmetic brow maintenance are outside this surgical transplant guide unless expressly listed.
Am I suitable for an eyebrow transplant in Turkey?
+
Suitability depends on the cause and stability of hair loss, donor hair, recipient skin, health, medicines, smoking status and expectations. Active or unexplained loss needs medical assessment first.
How long should I stay in Turkey after an eyebrow transplant?
+
Allow time for consultation, the session, donor and recipient checks and travel clearance. Your clinician sets the safe interval for flying and you should keep plans flexible.
What is recovery like after an eyebrow transplant?
+
Crusting, redness, swelling and temporary shedding are possible. Protect the grafts from rubbing and sun and resume exercise or cosmetic products only when your clinician clears them.
What should a written eyebrow-transplant quote specify?
+
Check the graft estimate, donor method, clinician, anaesthetic, dressings, prescribed medication, aftercare and follow-up contact.
