Beard transplant cost in Turkey
As of September 2026, the indicative beard transplant cost in Turkey on this page is 2,600-4,500 EUR per FUE session. Graft number, facial zones, donor area, hair characteristics, anaesthesia and written aftercare are assessed individually; the range does not guarantee density or final growth.
Each month, Just Clinic Istanbul collects current prices / costs for FUE beard transplant procedures from 30 hospitals randomly selected from our partner network, listed on our Hospitals page. We compare equivalent treatment plans and publish the lowest and highest reported prices as a minimum–maximum range. They are a neutral, objective reference, not the price of a single hospital or clinic and not a personal offer from Just Clinic Istanbul.
The final written quote can vary with clinical complexity, technique, anaesthesia, facility arrangements, tests, medication, aftercare and follow-up. Anything not named in the written scope is outside the price. Offer-specific inclusions may include sedation when clinically appropriate after assessment, necessary prescribed pre- and post-operative medication, a professional first wash with medical foam, an orthopaedic neck pillow, and vitamins, shampoo, lotion and serum, used only as directed by the treating clinician for the treated area. These are not universal inclusions.

What is a beard transplant?
A beard transplant moves individual follicular grafts from a selected donor area to parts of the beard or moustache that are sparse or have little growth. In an FUE session, grafts are removed individually with a small punch and placed into recipient sites designed for the direction, angle and density of facial hair.
The aim is a natural, proportionate improvement rather than an unlimited number of grafts or a guaranteed beard density. The treating hospital or clinic handles appointments and communication and arranges practical services only where listed in the written offer; the named surgeon is responsible for assessing the donor supply, designing the recipient area and performing or supervising the procedure.
Who might consider beard transplantation?
A surgeon may consider a beard transplant for an adult with localised patchiness, limited beard growth, scars or an uneven moustache and beard outline when the donor area can supply suitable grafts. The assessment should cover existing beard growth, hair calibre and curl, donor density, skin type, the cause of the patchiness, previous procedures, medicines, smoking status and expectations.
A donor supply is limited. The surgeon should explain how many grafts can be used safely, whether donor hair will match the beard and which areas should be prioritised. A medical cause of sudden hair loss, active skin disease, infection or an unexplained scar needs assessment before cosmetic transplantation.
How is a beard transplant planned?
Donor assessment: the surgeon examines the available scalp or beard donor area, hair characteristics, density and the reserve needed for future needs.
Facial design: the beard border, cheek line, moustache, chin and sideburns are planned around facial proportions rather than a fixed template.
FUE harvesting: suitable grafts are extracted individually to reduce the risk of a visible linear donor scar, while overharvesting remains a possible concern.
Angle and direction: grafts are placed to follow the natural lie of facial hair; an incorrect angle can make growth look artificial.
Density planning: the surgeon sets a realistic graft estimate for the priority areas. A second density session is a separate decision and is outside this guide.
The defined plan is one FUE beard-transplant session. An unlimited graft promise, simultaneous scalp transplant and a second density session are outside the price guide unless separately assessed and itemised in writing.
Session time, anaesthetic and stay
Beard FUE is usually performed with local anaesthetic, sometimes with sedation, and is commonly a day-case procedure. The session length depends on the graft estimate, beard areas treated, donor site and team plan. The written quote should identify who designs the beard, who harvests and implants the grafts, the anaesthetic, clinic or hospital fees, dressings, medication and follow-up.
You should be able to leave when the team confirms that it is safe, but you may need an adult to accompany you after sedation. Do not drive or make important travel decisions while medication or the procedure affects your alertness.
Planning your stay in Istanbul
Arrange your schedule around assessment, the FUE session, a graft or wound check and travel advice. Keep plans flexible and confirm how you will contact the treating team after you return home.
Bring your medical history and medication list. Avoid pressure, rubbing, dusty environments, strenuous exercise, swimming and intense sun exposure as instructed. Arrange help with luggage and do not plan a tightly scheduled sightseeing programme during the early recovery period.
Preparing for a beard transplant
Share your medical history, hair-loss history, medicines, supplements, allergies, previous facial or hair procedures, smoking status and any problems with anaesthesia or wound healing.
Tell the team about sudden hair loss, active acne or skin infection, scarring, keloid history, bleeding problems or another facial skin concern before the assessment.
Confirm the donor area, estimated graft number, beard design, who will perform each stage, aftercare, follow-up and the plan if graft growth is poor.
Follow instructions about smoking, alcohol, fasting, medicines and supplements. Never stop a prescribed medicine without clinical advice.
Arrange help with luggage and daily tasks, wear loose clothing and avoid anything that will rub the recipient area.
Plan to protect the grafts from pressure, rubbing, dust, intense sun and strenuous activity for the period specified by the treating team.
Recovery and results
Redness, swelling, scabbing, itching, tightness, tenderness and temporary numbness can affect the donor or recipient area. The grafts are vulnerable during the first days, so wash, sleep, shave and touch the beard only as instructed. Do not pick scabs or apply products that the team has not approved.
Some transplanted hairs may shed before new growth appears. Early shedding does not by itself show the final result; growth develops over several months and the outcome takes longer to assess. The beard may remain less dense than expected, and a further session is not automatically appropriate.
Possible complications include bleeding, infection, folliculitis, ingrown cysts, poor graft growth, abnormal hair angles, an overly straight beard border, pigment changes, bumps, donor overharvesting, visible scarring, altered sensation and the possibility of further surgery. Contact the treating team promptly about severe pain, heavy bleeding, fever, spreading redness, pus, rapidly worsening swelling or another unexpected symptom.
Beard transplant Turkey cost FAQs
How much does a beard transplant cost in Turkey in 2026? The planning range on this page is 2,600–4,500 EUR for one FUE beard-transplant session as of September 2026. The donor area, graft estimate and zones treated affect the final written quote.
How many grafts are included in the beard transplant price? No universal graft number is promised. The surgeon estimates a safe number after assessing your donor supply, beard design, hair characteristics and priority areas. Confirm the estimate in writing.
Does a beard transplant include a scalp transplant? No. Simultaneous scalp transplantation is outside this defined guide. If you want both areas treated, they should be assessed and itemised as a separate plan.
Can a beard transplant create a completely full beard? A transplant can improve selected sparse areas, but density depends on donor supply, hair characteristics, design, graft survival and healing. A completely full or perfectly symmetrical result cannot be guaranteed.
Am I suitable for a beard transplant in Turkey? Suitability depends on the cause of patchiness, donor hair, skin condition, health, medicines, smoking status and expectations. Active skin disease or unexplained hair loss needs assessment first.
What is recovery like after a beard transplant? Redness, swelling, scabbing, itching and temporary numbness are possible. Protect the grafts and follow the team's instructions about washing, shaving, sun, exercise and follow-up.
Are flights and hotel included in the beard transplant price? Only if expressly listed. Check the written quote for the surgeon or clinician, graft estimate, anaesthetic, dressings, medication, hotel nights, transfers, aftercare and follow-up.
Questions from you
These notes answer questions people raise before they accept a written treatment plan. They describe what that plan should make clear. They are not a promise that any partner hospital uses a particular technique, device or payment arrangement. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
How much donor hair can safely be taken, and what reserve should remain?
The permanent donor zone is the hair at the back and sides that resists pattern loss. Capacity is not a follicle count per square centimetre on its own. Hair calibre, curl, the contrast between hair and scalp, and how much of that zone may later be exposed all belong in the written plan. Taking more than that zone can thin the donor area and make the small round FUE marks easier to see. A high graft slogan does not measure the reserve that is left. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Why is FUE, an implanter pen, or another approach being proposed?
ISHRS treats taking tissue from the donor area and making the recipient sites as separate surgical steps. FUE describes removing grafts one by one from the back or sides. DHI, or a Choi implanter, describes how a prepared graft is placed. It is not a second operation that replaces FUE. The written plan should name the harvest instrument and the placement instrument separately. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Who will diagnose, design, harvest, make the sites, place the grafts and follow up?
The ISHRS board statement revised on 13 July 2024 says that diagnosis, planning, donor harvesting, hairline design, recipient-site creation, management of medical problems and aftercare are to be done by a licensed physician trained in hair restoration. In some countries a physician assistant or nurse practitioner may work within the limits of that licence and under that physician’s supervision. ISHRS regards a surgical step performed by an unlicensed person as unethical. Graft placement is not a separate bullet in that list, so the written plan still has to name who places the grafts. Ongoing loss of your own hair does not cancel the transplant, and longer-term medical follow-up should be written down as well. Source: ISHRS position statement on physician practice.
Could scalp donor hair look different from my beard hair?
It can. Scalp hair may differ from beard hair in colour, curl or calibre, and a mismatch can affect how natural the blend looks. Ask whether the proposed donor hair is a close match and how any difference will be handled in the design. ISHRS beard-transplant guidance.
Example wording from Estethica’s “Warranty Certificate”
The following is an example of wording in a hair-transplant certificate issued by Estethica. The graft-count placeholder is left blank, as it is in the supplied document:
With your consent and acceptance of the operation, your hair transplant operation was performed with ........ grafts and the operation got completed. As long as you fully fulfill all procedures correctly before and after surgery, you will not experience loss of any graft implanted. We guarantee that the number of grafts implanted are accurate and that the implanted hair will grow in a healthy way.
This quotation reproduces Estethica’s document wording and its statement is conditional on following the procedures before and after surgery. It is the issuer’s wording, not a guarantee by Just Clinic Istanbul or an unnamed clinic. It does not show that this certificate is included with, or applies to, any package discussed on this page. The supplied certificate does not state lifetime cover, a refund or free repeat surgery.
