Buttock implants — Just Clinic Istanbul

As of September 2026, the indicative buttock implant cost in Turkey on this page is 3,200-6,200 EUR per operation. The range covers implant-only and selected implant-plus-liposuction plans; implant type, size, donor-area work, anaesthesia and hospital inclusions are confirmed after assessment.

Each month, Just Clinic Istanbul collects current prices / costs for buttock implants procedures from 30 hospitals randomly selected from our partner network, listed on our Hospitals page. We compare equivalent treatment plans and publish the lowest and highest reported prices as a minimum–maximum range. They are a neutral, objective reference, not the price of a single hospital or clinic and not a personal offer from Just Clinic Istanbul.

The final written quote can change with complexity, technique, anaesthesia, hospital arrangements, tests, medication, accommodation, transfers and follow-up. Anything not named in writing should be treated as outside the price.

With your consent, enquiries may be forwarded to independent healthcare providers or authorised medical tourism organisations.

Use the country table as editorial orientation only. Ranges can cover different scopes from one country to another; compare the same procedure, inclusions and follow-up in writing before treating any figure as meaningful.

Buttock implants place a pair of silicone implants to add volume and projection. The scar usually sits in the crease between the buttocks. This is not a BBL: nothing is transferred from your waist or back, so the result does not depend on how much donor fat you have. The implants are not a promise of a copied celebrity shape, and they are not “for ever without reviews”.

Where included in the written offer, the treating hospital or clinic arranges accommodation and transfers for the Istanbul stay. The surgeon named on your written quote is the person who operates. To find out how other patients experienced buttock implant surgery in Turkey — the first days, sleeping on the front and the weeks after flying home — you can read our blog article on recovery and results.

Surgeons usually consider people who want more volume in the buttocks and do not have enough fat for a safe transfer, or who want a more stable volume than grafted fat. Slim patients often sit in this group. A cosmetic procedure of this kind is not routinely NHS-funded.

The operation is often postponed if you still plan a large weight change, if you smoke and the team has asked you to stop, or if a long-term condition makes a long anaesthetic less safe. If there is enough fat and the plan is to transfer it, that is a different quote — see BBL Turkey price. None of this is a promise that you are suitable. That decision is made after photographs of the buttocks and flanks, your history and a personal medical assessment.

The realistic aim is fuller buttocks with a pair of implants whose brand and size are written on the quote. The result is not the same on every figure, and no clinic can guarantee a particular look. Implants are not reabsorbed like BBL fat, but they can still need a later replacement for wear, displacement or a size change. This page quotes the first operation, not a future replacement. Weight change and sitting fully on the implant too soon can alter the shape you see after the initial recovery.

The surgeon chooses the implant and the pocket from your anatomy, not from a package name. The pocket is interfascial or intramuscular — that is the surgeon’s call, not an advertising label.

  • Round implants: the most common profile for projection. Guide band 3,200–4,500 EUR.
  • Anatomical or premium implants: more theatre time and higher-spec material. Guide band 4,500–5,500 EUR.
  • With flank liposuction: the implant plus lipo to define the contour. Guide band 5,000–6,200 EUR.

A BBL is not a cheaper version of this quote. Do not compare a fat-transfer advert with this range.

Theatre time is usually 1.5 to 3 hours. A straightforward pair of round implants can be shorter. Premium material or adding flank liposuction can take longer. Combined operations add time. The written plan is the one that counts.

Buttock implant surgery is done under general anaesthetic, or sometimes an epidural if the anaesthetic team prefers that plan. If a different approach is safer given your medical history, they explain that before the day.

You usually stay 1 or 2 nights in hospital. That is not the same as the total time in Istanbul. A compression garment is fitted before you leave the ward. For the first days you sleep on your front and avoid sitting fully on the implant.

Plan 7 to 10 nights in the city. That window covers the consultation, the operation, the hospital nights, the crease check and clearance to fly. Five to seven nights belong to other procedures, not this one. Three nights rarely leave the same medical margin. The hospital stay sits inside those nights; it does not replace them. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

What to do

  • Send photographs of the buttocks and flanks and a clear history — previous surgery, weight change — so you have a written quote before you book flights.
  • Stay as close as you can to a stable weight. Large changes after the operation alter the result.
  • Arrange someone to help you in the first days. You will sleep on your front and you will not sit fully on the implant.
  • Follow the hospital’s fasting instructions on the day. That list comes from the ward, not from a blog.

What not to do

  • Do not stop or start medicines — including blood-thinners, anti-inflammatories or supplements — on your own. The surgeon and anaesthetic team tell you what to change and when.
  • Do not smoke if the team has asked you to stop. Smoking reduces blood flow in the skin and raises the risk of poor healing around the crease. How long to stop is their instruction.
  • Do not book a short city break. Three or five nights is not the protocol here.
  • Do not treat a BBL advert as the same quote, and do not treat an advertised “from” figure as the amount you will pay.

Two timelines matter, and they are not the same.

Daily life and desk work. For the first days you sleep on your front and sit as little as possible. Many people return to light, desk-based work in about two to three weeks, still avoiding sitting fully on the implant and using a cushion under the thighs when they must sit. A more physical job usually needs longer. The garment stays on for several weeks.

Full recovery and sport. Heavy lifting and strenuous sport wait longer. Most people wait about six to eight weeks before harder exercise; some need longer before the team clears unrestricted training. Swelling settles over months; the shape you see after the initial recovery is not the final one.

Your own pace depends on the pocket, your job and how you heal. Follow the written aftercare, not a generic calendar.

These notes answer questions people raise before they accept a written treatment plan. They describe what that plan should make clear. They are not a promise that any partner hospital uses a particular technique, device or payment arrangement. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.

How will clot and pulmonary embolism risk be assessed and managed?

ASPS lists deep-vein thrombosis and heart and lung complications among liposuction risks. The BBL statement treats fat embolism as a separate and more serious risk. It is not prevented by a clot-preventing drug. The injection plane and ultrasound are what that statement relies on to reduce it. For clots, the written plan should cover your own risk, walking early, stockings or a compression device, and a clot-preventing medicine only if the surgeon decides it is indicated. The NHS asks people to call 999 or go to emergency care for breathlessness or chest pain with a painful swollen calf. Flying adds to this risk. Sources: ASPS liposuction safety, NHS weight-loss surgery complications.

How will a buttock implant’s size and pocket be chosen, and what happens if it infects or moves?

Size, pocket (inside the muscle or between the fascia layers) and the tissue cover should be chosen in writing. A shift may need repositioning or exchange. Infection may not stay within what antibiotics can treat. Removing the implant is a separate operation, and placing a new one in the same sitting is not guaranteed. This page does not say that any named brand pays for that.

What is the emergency route in the first days if a serious complication is suspected?

The ASPS joint statement asks the operating surgeon to manage complications personally, or to take a direct part in that care, for patients who have travelled. Breathlessness, chest pain, fainting, rapidly growing swelling on one side, and a painful swollen calf are emergency-department symptoms. Suspected fat embolism is considered separately from a blood clot. A route that says “write during office hours” does not cover the first 24 hours.

After I go home, who follows a complication and which costs are whose?

The NHS asks people to get in writing, before cosmetic surgery abroad, where reviews will happen, what further surgery and a return journey cost, and what insurance covers. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. This inventory does not say that any partner pays those items. Source: NHS advice on cosmetic surgery abroad.

Can buttock implants be visible or felt under the skin?

They can be. Visibility or palpability is a recognised possible complication of gluteal implants, and the fit between implant size and the person’s tissue coverage matters. Visibility or palpability is a possible risk, not an inevitable outcome. Ask the plastic surgeon to explain the planned size, placement pocket and tissue cover for your anatomy, and what options are available if the implant becomes prominent or shifts. The International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery’s patient information lists visibility and palpability among potential risks.

Can buttock implants change sensation?

Changes in skin sensation are a recognised possible complication after gluteal implant surgery. Nearby nerves, including the sciatic nerve, can also be affected or irritated. The available guidance does not predict who will experience a change or how long it may last. Before surgery, ask the plastic surgeon which areas could be affected, what symptoms should prompt contact, and how concerns are assessed during follow-up. The ISAPS patient guidance on gluteal implants lists sensation changes and nearby nerve injury among potential risks.

Frequently asked questions about cost

How much are butt implants in Turkey in 2026? +

As of September 2026 the buttock implants Turkey price on this page is 3,200–6,200 EUR. Round 3,200–4,500 EUR, anatomical or premium 4,500–5,500 EUR, and with flank liposuction 5,000–6,200 EUR. Brand and size sit on the written quote.

Are buttock implants the same as a BBL? +

No. This page is a pair of silicone implants. A BBL transfers your own fat. Slim patients with not enough donor fat usually sit on this quote, not the BBL page.

When can I fly after buttock implant surgery? +

When the surgeon discharges you, usually inside the 7 to 10 nights in Istanbul. Five to seven nights belong to other procedures, not this one. Book flexible dates in case they ask for an extra night.

Are flights included in the package? +

Flights are usually extra. Check the written quote. Insurance, a companion’s hotel and extra nights you choose are extra unless the contract says otherwise.

Where is the scar? +

Usually in the crease between the buttocks. For the first days you sleep on your front and avoid sitting fully on the implant. How you sit after that is in the written aftercare.

Are the implants permanent? +

They are not reabsorbed like BBL fat, but they are not for ever without reviews. A later replacement may be needed for wear, displacement or a size change. This range covers the first operation, not a future replacement.

How do buttock implants in Turkey compare with a UK private quote? +

UK private care is usually surgery alone: round 7,000–10,000 EUR equivalent and premium 9,000–12,000 EUR, quoted in pounds, without hotel. A Turkish package can include the implants, admission, garment and post-operative follow-up arrangements. Compare brand and the same items. Savings are not guaranteed.
