Liposuction cost in Turkey
As of September 2026, the indicative liposuction cost in Turkey on this page is 2,800-6,500 EUR per operation. The range covers one area, two to three areas and lipo 360; the treatment zones, technique, anaesthesia, hospital care and any added procedure are confirmed after assessment.
Each month, Just Clinic Istanbul collects current prices / costs for liposuction procedures from 30 hospitals randomly selected from our partner network, listed on our Hospitals page. We compare equivalent treatment plans and publish the lowest and highest reported prices as a minimum–maximum range. They are a neutral, objective reference, not the price of a single hospital or clinic and not a personal offer from Just Clinic Istanbul.
The final written quote can change with complexity, technique, anaesthesia, hospital arrangements, tests, medication, accommodation, transfers and follow-up. Anything not named in writing should be treated as outside the price.
With your consent, enquiries may be forwarded to independent healthcare providers or authorised medical tourism organisations.
Liposuction cost compared by country
Use the country table as editorial orientation only. Ranges can cover different scopes from one country to another; compare the same procedure, inclusions and follow-up in writing before treating any figure as meaningful.
Liposuction removes localised fat that diet and exercise have not shifted — love handles, the lower belly, the inner thighs, the back or under the chin. People also call it lipo, or liposculpture when the emphasis is on contour. It is not a method for losing weight and it does not treat obesity. Skin that is already very loose will not tighten because fat has been taken out.
Where included in the written offer, the treating hospital or clinic arranges accommodation and transfers for the Istanbul stay. The surgeon named on your written quote is the person who operates. To find out how other patients experienced liposuction in Turkey — the first days, the garment and the weeks after flying home — you can read our blog article on areas, recovery and results.
Who is liposuction for?
Surgeons usually consider people who are already close to a stable, healthy weight and still have pockets of fat that will not shift. Typical areas include the abdomen, flanks, back, thighs, arms or under the chin. A cosmetic procedure of this kind is not routinely NHS-funded.
The operation is often postponed if you still plan to lose a large amount of weight, if the skin is too loose for suction alone, or if smoking or a long-term condition makes healing less safe. None of this is a promise that you are suitable. That decision is made after photographs, your history and a personal medical assessment.
What the operation aims to do
The realistic aim is a smoother contour in the treated areas, not a smaller clothing size on the whole body. The result is not the same on every figure, and no clinic can guarantee a particular look. Weight you put back on later will change the shape you see after the initial recovery. If the fat is to be grafted into the buttocks, that is a BBL and a different quote.
Techniques used
The surgeon chooses the plan from your body, not from a package name. One area is not the same job as a 360 of abdomen, flanks and back.
One area: a single zone — for example the abdomen or the flanks. Guide band 2,800–3,800 EUR.
Two to three areas: separate zones in the same sitting. Guide band 3,800–5,200 EUR.
Lipo 360: a belt around the trunk — abdomen, flanks and lower back. Guide band 4,500–6,500 EUR. It can rise if it is combined with a mummy makeover or other areas.
VASER: ultrasound to loosen the fat before it is extracted. It usually sits at the upper end of the range. It is not a promise of fewer bruises or a whole-body slim.
Liposculpture is, in practice, the same extraction. Price is set by the areas, not the name on the advert. A tummy tuck is a different operation if loose skin has to come off — see tummy tuck Turkey price.
How long the operation takes
Theatre time is usually 1 to 3 hours. One small area can be shorter. A lipo 360, or several areas, can take longer. Combined operations add time. The written plan is the one that counts.
Anaesthetic
Larger-area liposuction is usually done under general anaesthetic. A small area can sometimes be done with local anaesthetic and sedation. If a different plan is safer given your medical history, the anaesthetic team explains that before the day.
Hospital stay
You usually stay 1 night in hospital, sometimes more. That is not the same as the total time in Istanbul. A compression garment is fitted before you leave the ward. Drains, if they are used, are the surgeon’s decision on the day.
How long to stay in Istanbul
Plan 5 to 10 nights in the city. That window covers the consultation, the operation, the hospital night, swelling checks, the garment and clearance to fly. Adverts of 3 or 5 nights rarely leave the same medical margin. The hospital stay sits inside those nights; it does not replace them. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.
What to do — and not do — before surgery
What to do
Send photographs of the areas you want treated and a clear history — weight change, previous surgery — so you have a written quote before you book flights.
Stay as close as you can to a stable weight. Large changes after the operation alter the result.
Arrange someone to help you in the first days. You will not want to lift heavy bags.
Follow the hospital’s fasting instructions on the day. That list comes from the ward, not from a blog.
What not to do
Do not stop or start medicines — including blood-thinners, anti-inflammatories or supplements — on your own. The surgeon and anaesthetic team tell you what to change and when.
Do not smoke if the team has asked you to stop. Smoking reduces blood flow in the skin and raises the risk of poor healing. How long to stop is their instruction.
Do not book a short city break. Three or five nights is not the protocol here.
Do not treat the operation as a substitute for weight loss.
Recovery
Two timelines matter, and they are not the same.
Daily life and desk work. Many people manage short walks from the first day and return to light, desk-based work in 7 to 14 days. You wear a compression garment for several weeks. Swelling, bruising and tightness are common. A more physical job usually needs longer.
Full recovery and sport. Heavy lifting and strenuous sport wait longer. Most people wait about four to six weeks before harder exercise; some need longer before the team clears unrestricted training. The contour keeps settling for months; the shape you see after the initial recovery is not the final one.
Your own pace depends on how many areas were treated, your job and how you heal. Follow the written aftercare, not a generic calendar.
Before and after drawings
The drawings below show flanks and abdomen. They are not a named patient’s photographs, and they are not a guarantee of result.

The photographs below are illustrative pictures of the associated surgical team in Istanbul. They are not a promise of who will operate; that name is on your written quote.

Questions from you
These notes answer questions people raise before they accept a written treatment plan. They describe what that plan should make clear. They are not a promise that any partner hospital uses a particular technique, device or payment arrangement. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
Is the main problem extra fat, extra skin or separated abdominal muscles, and which of those will this operation treat?
ASPS notes that when a large amount of fat is removed, extra skin can need a second operation. J-Plasma, also called Renuvion, aims to tighten skin with heat. It should not be written as a replacement for a tummy tuck or an arm or thigh lift when there is a hanging skin apron or a clear separation of the abdominal muscles. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
Which areas will liposuction include, and what personal limits will stop or stage it?
ASPS says special planning is needed when more than five litres are usually suctioned. That figure is not a safe ceiling for every person. Blood in the aspirate, the fluid given, the lidocaine dose and the length of the anaesthetic can reduce the scope or split the session. The written plan should name the areas included and the finding that would stop the operation. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
Why combine procedures in one operation, and when should they be staged?
Several operations in one sitting should not become a package name until the time and the clot risk have been written for that person. The blood supply of an abdominal flap can be injured by aggressive waist liposuction at the same time. Walking early is part of clot prevention. A combination that stops that walking should be staged. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
How are a seroma, a wound opening or skin loss recognised and treated?
ASPS lists fluid collection, poor wound healing and heat injury among liposuction risks. A seroma is a wavy swelling under the incision. A small one may be absorbed. A collection that persists can be aspirated. One that is infected or threatening the skin is drained. A wound that opens, or skin that turns black, is a sign of tension, smoking, infection or a circulation problem. It is not a mark to close at home with a dressing. Drains, compression and the review date should be written down. Fever, a bad smell, an open wound and rapidly growing swelling should be reported without delay. Source: ASPS liposuction safety.
After I go home, who follows a wound problem or a suspected clot, and who pays for extra treatment?
The NHS asks people having cosmetic surgery abroad to settle in advance where reviews happen and what further surgery and a return journey cost. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. The NHS uses 5–7 days after liposuction or breast surgery, and 7–10 days after a tummy tuck, as planning windows before flying. A painful swollen calf with breathlessness or chest pain is an emergency-department symptom. This page does not say that any partner pays those items. Source: NHS advice on cosmetic surgery abroad.
Why do I have hard lumps or firm areas after liposuction — is it fibrosis?
Firmness or an uneven feel can occur while treated tissue is healing, but a lump cannot be identified as fibrosis from touch or a photograph alone. NHS guidance lists swelling, inflammation and occasionally lumpy or uneven results among possible effects; the pattern and timing matter, and other causes may need assessment. Contact the operating team about a new, worsening or persistent lump, especially with increasing pain, redness, warmth, fever, fluid leakage or rapidly growing swelling. Seek urgent care for severe or unexpected symptoms. Do not start massage or other treatment unless the surgical team has advised it. NHS liposuction guidance.
Do I need lymphatic drainage massage after liposuction?
Whether massage is suitable depends on your operation and healing. One NHS hospital leaflet says light massage may begin after the wounds have fully healed, with a nurse advising further; it does not specifically recommend lymphatic drainage massage or say that every patient needs it. Ask your operating team whether they recommend lymphatic drainage for you, when it could start and who should provide it. Do not massage an unhealed wound or an area with increasing pain, swelling, redness, warmth or fluid leakage; contact the team for advice. Royal Marsden liposuction aftercare leaflet.
How long will I need to wear a compression garment after liposuction?
Several weeks is a common planning guide, but the exact schedule depends on the areas treated, garment fit and your surgeon’s instructions. The NHS says a support corset or compression bandages are generally worn constantly for several weeks to help with swelling and bruising. Ask your team when it may be removed for washing or showering, how long to wear it each day and what to do if it causes pain, numbness or skin irritation. Follow the plan for your operation rather than changing the fit or schedule yourself. NHS liposuction guidance.
Can fat come back after liposuction?
Liposuction changes body contour by removing fat from treated areas, but it does not prevent future weight gain. The NHS describes results as generally long-lasting when a healthy weight is maintained; it also notes that the best results are expected in people who are not overweight and whose skin is firm and elastic. Weight changes can affect the overall contour, so ask the surgeon what the operation can and cannot change for your areas and goals. This is general information, not a prediction of an individual result. NHS liposuction guidance.
When will my stomach or waist look less swollen after liposuction?
Swelling and bruising are expected early on, and the contour can take months to settle. The NHS says bruising and swelling may last for up to six months and that the treated area can take up to six months to settle completely. The timing varies with the areas treated and individual healing, so an early appearance does not establish the final result. Follow your surgeon’s review plan and contact the team about severe pain or unexpected symptoms. NHS liposuction guidance.
How much does liposuction cost in Turkey in 2026?
+
As of September 2026 the liposuction Turkey price on this page is 2,800–6,500 EUR. One area, several areas and lipo 360 sit in that band. The written quote is what you pay.
When can I fly after liposuction?
+
When the surgeon discharges you, usually inside the 5 to 10 nights in Istanbul. The hospital night sits inside that stay; it does not replace it.
Are flights included in the package?
+
Flights are usually extra. Check the written quote. Book flexible dates in case discharge is delayed.
What is the difference between VASER and traditional liposuction?
+
VASER loosens the fat with ultrasound before it is extracted. Traditional liposuction aspirates it with a cannula after fluid is injected. VASER usually sits at the upper end of the range. It is not a whole-body slim. The quote lists whether it is included.
Is liposuction a weight-loss operation?
+
No. It treats localised fat that diet and exercise have not shifted. It does not treat obesity. Loose skin that needs removing is a different operation.
Can liposuction and a BBL be done in the same operation?
+
Yes, if the surgeon considers it safe: fat is aspirated and grafted. That quote is not the one on this page. It sits on the BBL page.
How does liposuction in Turkey compare with a UK private quote?
+
UK private care is usually surgery alone: 3,500–6,000 EUR equivalent for one area and 6,500–10,000 EUR for a lipo 360, quoted in pounds, without hotel. Compare the clinical scope, facility, hospital care and aftercare against the written quote. Savings are not guaranteed.
