What a sixpack liposuction package is

Sixpack liposuction — abdominal etching — is high-definition suction along the rectus lines of the abdomen. The cannula thins the fat that sits over grooves that already exist in the muscle. It does not build a six-pack from a soft midsection, and it is not a 360 belt around the flanks and back. Fat cells taken from the named field do not return there; remaining cells can still enlarge if weight goes up. VASER ultrasound sits in this stay only if the paper names it.

The written plan should define the abdominal etching area. Flanks, back, arms or fat grafting are separate unless expressly included.

Who this package is for

Surgeons usually consider adults who already sit near a stable, relatively low body fat, who train the core, and who still have a thin layer hiding the lines of the rectus. Typical reasons include a belly that looks flat in clothes but shows no grooves without sucking in. If the waist still carries a thick belt of fat, a 360 or a one-zone sitting is the conversation first. Liposuction does not treat obesity. If the skin hangs or the midline has split, a tummy tuck is a different quote.

The sitting is often postponed if a large weight change is still coming, if the team has asked you to stop smoking, or if a long-term condition makes a general anaesthetic less safe. Send daylight photographs of the trunk — front and both sides, standing, no filter and no flexing for the camera. Suitability is confirmed in Istanbul before anyone operates. Flanks, back, arms or a fat-graft sitting are not assumed in this package.

What sits outside the quote

A 360 belt, additional zones, tummy tuck, BBL, post-liposuction massage, VASER or later revision are outside this six-pack scope unless named in the written offer. Over-etching to pursue a photograph is not appropriate; the planned correction is limited by clinical judgment.

Theatre, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul

Plan five to ten days in the city. That window covers the in-person assessment, the sitting, the hospital night, swelling checks, the garment and clearance to fly. Four-night city-break adverts rarely leave the same medical margin. The hospital night sits inside those days; it does not replace them. Leave room for an extra night if the team asks.

Theatre time for an etching map is usually one to three hours under general anaesthetic; a finer map can run longer than a simple lower-belly pocket because the lines are placed slowly. Combined operations add time. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

Recovery after you fly home

The first seven to fourteen days are garment care: compression as shown, short walks, no gym, no heat on the abdomen. Swelling can hide the lines for weeks; the day-three photograph is not the result. Desk work is often possible after one to two weeks if the surgeon agrees. The garment usually continues for several weeks. Sport waits about four to six weeks, or longer if the discharge note says so. The look settles over months, not days. None of that is a six-pack guarantee.

Red flags after you return — spreading redness, pus, a temperature that persists, pain that is getting worse, sudden one-sided swelling, or breathlessness — mean a local clinician or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.

How are clot, haematoma and seroma assessed, and what is done if they develop?

ASPS lists fluid collection, uneven contour and deep-vein thrombosis among liposuction risks. A firm, purple, growing swelling is a haematoma, and a large one is evacuated. After I go home, who follows asymmetry, a seroma or another complication, and who pays for revision?
