What a penile implant package is

A penile implant — a malleable, semi-rigid prosthesis — is a pair of rods placed inside the corpora so the penis can be positioned for sex when tablets, injections or a vacuum pump have not been enough. It stays somewhat firm; you bend it down when you do not need it. It is not an inflatable three-piece system with a pump and a reservoir (that sits on the plural implants page), not hyaluronic filler for girth, and not a lengthening operation. If bleeding, infection or a device problem appears after I go home, who follows it and which cost is whose?

An infected prosthesis needs review without delay. Removal is a separate operation, and a manufacturer warranty does not automatically pay for it or for another journey.
