Breast lift — Just Clinic Istanbul

As of September 2026, the breast lift Turkey price on this page is 2,800–4,800 EUR: doughnut 2,800–3,400 EUR, lollipop 3,200–4,200 EUR, anchor 3,800–4,800 EUR. A mild droop is not priced like marked laxity. Treat advertised “from” figures with caution; you pay the written breakdown.

Each month, Just Clinic Istanbul collects current prices / costs for breast lift procedures from 30 hospitals randomly selected from our partner network, listed on our Hospitals page. We compare equivalent treatment plans and publish the lowest and highest reported prices as a minimum–maximum range. They are a neutral, objective reference, not the price of a single hospital or clinic and not a personal offer from Just Clinic Istanbul.

The usual question — how much is a boob lift in Turkey — is answered by the written quote: a lift without implants, not a cup-size increase. Some listings still show a lower breast lift Turkey cost; those ads of 2,400–3,000 EUR, or packages “from 2,800”, often cover a different scope. Just Clinic Istanbul does not cut its range to match the cheapest advert. A typical breast uplift Turkey price in this band is a guide. The amount you pay is set after the assessment.

Type Turkey UK USA Thailand
Periareolar 2,800 – 3,400 4,500 – 6,500 6,500 – 11,000 2,500 – 4,500
Vertical 3,200 – 4,200 5,000 – 7,500 7,000 – 13,000 3,000 – 5,500
Inverted-T 3,800 – 4,800 6,000 – 9,000 8,000 – 14,000 3,500 – 6,500
Revision mastopexy Within the range; often mid to high Usually in the upper private band Often 10,000 – 16,000 Varies by hospital

For a country-to-country comparison to mean anything, you have to match the same operation, the same hotel nights and who pays the flights. A private breast lift price in the UK is typically quoted in pounds for surgery alone — doughnut often in a band comparable to 4,500–6,500 EUR, vertical 5,000–7,500 EUR and inverted-T 6,000–9,000 EUR — without hotel, because you are already at home. Use the written breakdown rather than an advertised “from” price.

A breast lift — mastopexy in medical language, and often called a breast uplift in the UK — raises a breast that has dropped, removes the extra skin, and moves the nipple and areola to a higher position. It does not add cup size. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight change and time all stretch the skin; a lift tightens that envelope. It is not the same operation as an enlargement.

We do not make medical decisions. With your consent, your enquiry may be shared with authorised healthcare partners; the surgeon named on your written quote is responsible for the medical assessment and operation. For a patient-facing overview of the first days, scars and weeks after flying home, read our blog article on recovery after a breast lift in Turkey.

Surgeons usually consider people who are close to a stable, healthy weight, who do not smoke, and who are bothered by breasts that sit low, have lost shape, or have nipples that rest below the crease when unsupported. Typical situations include after pregnancy or breastfeeding, after a large weight loss, or when one breast sits lower than the other. A cosmetic breast lift is not routinely NHS-funded.

The operation is often postponed if you still plan another pregnancy soon, if you hope to lose a large amount of weight, or if smoking or a long-term condition makes healing less safe. None of this is a promise that you are suitable. That decision is made after photographs, your history and a personal medical assessment.

The realistic aims are a higher, firmer breast shape, a nipple and areola that sit in a more youthful position, and — if they have stretched — a smaller areola. Removing skin can make the breast look a little smaller; it does not round out the upper pole the way an implant would. The result is not the same on every chest, and no clinic can guarantee a particular look. A further pregnancy or a large weight change can stretch the tissues again.

A breast lift is the correct price page only when the main issue is position and loose skin. It raises and reshapes existing tissue. It does not add the upper-pole fullness that an implant can provide, and it does not remove a large amount of breast volume like a reduction. That is why a cheap augmentation quote and a lift quote cannot be compared as if they were the same operation.

The surgeon chooses the incision from how low the breast sits, not from a package name. A doughnut scar around the areola is not the same operation as a lollipop or an anchor.

  • Periareolar (doughnut): a circle around the areola, used for a mild droop. Guide band 2,800–3,400 EUR.
  • Vertical (lollipop): the circle plus a line down to the fold, for a moderate drop. Guide band 3,200–4,200 EUR.
  • Inverted-T (anchor): the lollipop plus a line in the crease, when there is marked laxity. Guide band 3,800–4,800 EUR.

Ptosis is the clinical word for that drop; the surgeon grades it after photographs and examination. Do not pick on the lowest price alone: a cheap doughnut scar will not correct severe droop. If you want more volume as well, that is a breast lift with implants and a separate quote. Enlargement without a lift sits on the breast augmentation page.

The breast lift Turkey cost moves mainly with ptosis grade and scar pattern. Mild droop can sometimes be treated around the areola. A moderate drop often needs a vertical scar. Marked laxity usually needs an inverted-T or anchor pattern, which takes more planning, more theatre time and more wound care. Asymmetry, enlarged areolae, previous breast surgery, weight-loss skin quality and revision work can also push the quote toward the upper part of the range.

The cause of the droop does not create a separate tariff. A breast lift after pregnancy, breastfeeding, ageing or weight loss is still priced by the surgical plan, not by the story behind it. If implants, fat transfer, a reduction or another body procedure enters the plan, the quote belongs on another page or must be itemised separately.

Surgeons look at where the nipple sits compared with the fold under the breast, how much tissue has dropped below that fold, the direction of the nipple, skin quality and the amount of breast volume left. Photographs can start the conversation, but the final plan normally needs an in-person examination. A shorter scar is not automatically a better operation if it cannot lift the tissue enough.

Theatre time is usually 2 to 3 hours. A doughnut lift can be shorter. An anchor lift, or a plan that also uses implants, can take longer. Combined operations add time. The written plan is the one that counts.

A breast lift is done under general anaesthetic. You are asleep for the whole operation. If a different plan is safer given your medical history, the anaesthetic team explains that before the day.

You usually stay 1 night in hospital, sometimes 2. That is not the same as the total time in Istanbul. A surgical bra is fitted before you leave the ward.

Plan 7 to 10 nights in the city. That window covers the consultation, the operation, the hospital night, the first dressings and clearance to fly. Adverts of 5 to 7 nights rarely leave the same medical margin. The hospital stay sits inside those nights; it does not replace them. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

The usual sequence is remote assessment first, then an indicative written quote before flights are booked. In Istanbul, the healthcare team confirms the scar plan, tests, consent and markings in person. Surgery is followed by the hospital night, early dressing checks, surgical bra instructions and written clearance before flying home. Avoid treating the trip as a holiday immediately after surgery: rest and follow-up are part of the plan.

Major surgery and air travel both increase clot risk, so the flight date is a medical clearance issue, not only a ticket issue. If swelling, wound concerns, fever or general health delay discharge, the safer plan may be an extra night in Istanbul.

A lower advertised breast lift cost in Turkey may be a real starting price and still not describe your case. It may refer to a mild periareolar lift, surgery-only pricing, fewer hotel nights, no follow-up details, no revision policy or a plan that excludes complex asymmetry. If your case needs a vertical or anchor lift, the cheapest headline may not be relevant.

Ask whether the quote is for lift alone, which scar pattern is expected, who operates, which hospital is used, how many nights are included, what happens after you return home and which costs are excluded if wound care or revision is needed.

  • Is the quote definitely for a lift without implants?
  • Which incision pattern is expected, and why is it appropriate for the degree of ptosis?
  • Will the areola be reduced or repositioned, and is that included?
  • Who is the named operating surgeon, and where will the operation take place?
  • What follow-up is available after you return home?
  • Which costs are excluded if there is delayed wound healing, a complication or a later revision?

What to do

  • Send photographs and a clear history — pregnancies, breastfeeding, weight change, previous breast surgery — so you have a written quote before you book flights.
  • Stay as close as you can to a stable weight. Large changes after the operation alter the result.
  • Arrange someone to help you in the first days. You will not want to lift children or heavy bags, or raise your arms above shoulder height.
  • Follow the hospital’s fasting instructions on the day. That list comes from the ward, not from a blog.

What not to do

  • Do not stop or start medicines — including blood-thinners, anti-inflammatories or supplements — on your own. The surgeon and anaesthetic team tell you what to change and when.
  • Do not smoke if the team has asked you to stop. Smoking reduces blood flow in the skin and raises the risk of poor healing. How long to stop is their instruction.
  • Do not book a short city break. Five to seven nights is not the protocol here.
  • Do not treat the operation as a breast enlargement. This page prices a lift without implants.

Breast lifts are commonly grouped into three scar patterns: periareolar (doughnut), vertical (lollipop) and inverted-T (anchor). A periareolar lift uses a scar around the areola and is generally considered when less lifting is needed. A vertical lift adds a line to the breast crease and can address more skin excess and reshaping. An inverted-T adds a crease scar and may be discussed when the droop or skin excess is more marked. These are not grades of quality or fixed packages. The surgeon chooses the least extensive approach that can safely meet the individual anatomy and goals.

Ptosis describes how low the nipple and breast tissue sit in relation to the breast crease. In a simplified clinical description, Grade I is mild droop, Grade II is moderate droop and Grade III is more marked droop, with the nipple below the crease. Pseudoptosis describes a breast where the nipple remains at or above the crease but the lower pole has lost volume or sits low. These terms guide discussion but do not choose an operation on their own: skin quality, breast volume, asymmetry, future pregnancy plans and desired fullness also matter.

All surgery and general anaesthesia carry risks. This is not a complete list or personal medical advice; the treating provider should explain the risks that apply to your health, scar pattern and procedure.

  • Bleeding, haematoma, seroma, infection, delayed healing or wound separation.
  • Visible or widened scars, asymmetry, shape change, altered breast or nipple sensation, or dissatisfaction with the result.
  • Changes to nipple or areola blood supply, and possible effects on breastfeeding, which can be more relevant when extensive lifting is needed.
  • Less common anaesthetic, clotting or wound-healing complications, and a later need for scar treatment or revision.

Two timelines matter, and they are not the same.

Daily life and desk work. Many people manage short walks from the first day and return to light, desk-based work in 1 to 2 weeks. You wear a compression bra for several weeks. Swelling, tightness and a change in nipple sensation are common; sensation often returns over weeks or months, though it can take longer. Keep your arms from lifting above the shoulder until the team says otherwise.

Return to unrestricted activity and sport. Heavy lifting, gym work and strenuous sport wait longer. Most people wait about six weeks before harder exercise; some need six to eight weeks before the team clears unrestricted training. The scar keeps settling for months; the shape you see after the initial recovery is not the final one.

Your own pace depends on the technique, your job and how you heal. Follow the written aftercare, not a generic calendar.

A surgical breast lift leaves scars. They often flatten and fade over months, but they do not disappear. The scar pattern depends on how much skin must be removed and how far the nipple and areola need to move. Smoking, wound tension, genetics and aftercare can all affect scar quality.

Nipple and breast sensation can increase, decrease, feel different or stay changed. Breastfeeding after a lift may still be possible for some people, but it cannot be guaranteed because ducts, glandular tissue and nerves may be affected by the technique and by individual healing. If you plan pregnancy soon, discuss timing before booking; pregnancy and breastfeeding can stretch the tissues again and change the result.

After you return home, do not wait for a message reply if symptoms suggest an emergency. Seek local medical assessment urgently for shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting, coughing blood, one-sided calf swelling or pain, rapidly increasing breast swelling, heavy bleeding, spreading redness, fever, pus, severe uncontrolled pain, a wound opening, or skin or nipple colour that becomes dusky, pale, blistered or dark.

This advice does not replace your written aftercare. It explains when a local emergency service, GP, urgent care clinic or emergency department is safer than remote messaging across time zones.

If an implant or wound problem appears after I go home, who follows it and which costs are whose?

The NHS says a clinic abroad may not take on the same follow-up duty as a UK operation, and there may be no doctor arranged in your own country. The questions to settle in writing are what happens if there is a complication, where reviews take place, and what a return journey and further surgery would cost. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. Whether the clinic’s own insurance covers you is a separate question. The FDA notes that removing or replacing an implant may not be covered by insurance even when there is a complication. A manufacturer’s card or warranty is not a substitute for the surgeon’s fee for wound care, admission or revision. This page does not say that any partner pays those items. The scope has to be separated in writing before surgery. Symptoms that should be reported without delay include growing swelling or bruising, fever, a wound that opens, an implant that becomes visible, and a new lump or fluid on one side. Frequently asked questions about cost

How much does a breast lift cost in Turkey in 2026? +

As of September 2026 the breast lift Turkey price on this page is 2,800–4,800 EUR. Doughnut, lollipop and anchor sit in that band. The written quote is what you pay.

What changes the breast lift price in Turkey? +

The main drivers are ptosis grade and scar pattern: periareolar, vertical or inverted-T. Asymmetry, enlarged areolae, previous breast surgery, weight-loss skin quality and revision work can also move the quote upward.

When can I fly after a breast lift? +

When the surgeon discharges you, usually inside the 7 to 10 nights in Istanbul. The hospital night sits inside that stay; it does not replace it.

Are flights included in the package? +

Flights are usually extra. Check the written quote. Book flexible dates in case discharge is delayed.

Will a breast lift make my breasts larger? +

No. This page prices a lift without implants: it removes skin and repositions the nipple and areola. Removing skin can make the apparent volume a little smaller. If you want more fullness, that is a separate quote.

How do I know whether I need a lift or breast augmentation? +

A lift treats low nipple position and loose skin. Breast augmentation adds volume with implants. If the breast sits low and you also want fullness, the closer match is breast lift with implants.

Can a breast lift and implants be combined in the same operation? +

Yes, if the surgeon considers it safe. Theatre time goes up and the quote is different: it sits on the breast lift with implants page. This page only prices a lift without implants.

Does the price change after pregnancy? +

It is priced by technique (doughnut, lollipop or anchor), not by why the breast dropped. There is no postpartum tariff. A further pregnancy can stretch the tissues again, so say so at assessment.

Will breast lift scars disappear? +

No. Breast lift scars are permanent, although they often flatten and fade over months. The scar pattern depends on how much skin must be removed and how far the nipple and areola need to move.

Can I breastfeed after a breast lift? +

Some people can, but it cannot be guaranteed. Milk ducts, glandular tissue and nerve supply may be affected by the technique and by individual healing. If future pregnancy matters to you, discuss timing before booking.

What should be written on the quote before I pay a deposit? +

The quote should say that this is lift without implants, the expected incision pattern, whether areola work is included, the named surgeon, hospital, hospital and hotel nights, follow-up, and exclusions for complications or later revision.

What symptoms need urgent medical help after I return home? +

Seek local urgent care for shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting, one-sided calf swelling, rapidly increasing breast swelling, heavy bleeding, spreading redness, fever, pus, severe uncontrolled pain, a wound opening, or dark, pale or blistered skin or nipple colour.

How does a breast lift in Turkey compare with a UK private quote? +

UK private care is usually surgery alone, quoted in pounds, without hotel. A Turkish package can include hospital, surgical bra and post-operative follow-up arrangements. Compare the same items. Savings are not guaranteed.
