What a breast lifting package is

A breast lift — mastopexy — raises a breast that has dropped and moves the nipple to a higher, more central point. Spare skin is taken; volume is not added. It is not an implant operation, not a reduction, and not a fat-transfer fill. The scar follows the droop: around the areola (doughnut / periareolar), a vertical lollipop line, or an inverted-T anchor in the crease. The pattern is chosen in clinic, not from a photograph you send.

The written offer from your treating hospital or clinic should confirm the scope for this mastopexy package: the lift named on your written plan, a hospital night, hotel nights around the first bra checks, transfers, and an English-speaking coordinator. Who operates belongs on the paper, not in a slogan. A cup size is not promised at a fixed fee.

Who this package is for

Surgeons usually consider adults whose breasts sit low after pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight change or years, and whose volume still feels enough once the tissue is lifted. If the upper pole is empty and you also want more cup, this stay is the wrong quote: a lift with implants is a different operation. If the breast is heavy and you want it smaller, that is a reduction, not this page.

The operation is often postponed if another pregnancy is planned soon, if a large weight change is still coming, if the team has asked you to stop smoking, or if a long-term condition makes a long general anaesthetic less safe. Send daylight photographs — front and both sides, arms relaxed — without a padded bra or a filter. Suitability is confirmed in Istanbul before anyone operates.

This package is for a breast lift without implants. Implants, a reduction, fat transfer or another operation are separate treatment scopes and must be confirmed by the provider in writing.

Theatre, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul

Plan seven to ten nights in the city. That window covers the in-person assessment, the operation, the hospital night, the first bra checks and clearance to fly. The hospital night sits inside those days; it does not replace them. Leave room for an extra night if the team asks. Five to seven days belong to a straightforward implant enlargement, not this lift.

Theatre time is usually two to three hours under general anaesthetic. A small periareolar lift can be shorter; an anchor pattern, drains, or adding another operation can take longer. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

Recovery after you fly home

The first seven to ten days are chest care: the surgical bra day and night as shown, no gym, no lifting children or heavy bags, no sleeping on your front. Swelling and tightness ease over weeks. Scars fade over twelve to eighteen months; they do not vanish. Desk work is often possible after one to two weeks if the surgeon agrees. Driving, sport and underwire wait for the timetable on your discharge note. A further pregnancy can stretch the tissues again. None of that is a shape guarantee.

Red flags after you return — spreading redness, pus, a temperature that persists, sudden swelling on one side, pain that is getting worse, or breathlessness — mean a local clinician or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.
