What a 360 lipo and deep plane facelift package is

This stay combines lipo 360 — circumferential suction around the abdomen, flanks and lower back as one belt — with a deep-plane facelift in one coordinated Istanbul trip. The trunk is contour work, not a diet and not sixpack etching. The face is a rhytidectomy that lifts a composite flap and releases retaining ligaments, so the midface and jawline can sit again without a skin-only pull. It is not threads, not filler, not a mini, and not a tummy tuck. Fat cells taken from the named belt do not return there; remaining cells can still enlarge if weight goes up.

The written plan should identify the 360 treatment map and deep-plane facelift after assessment. A staged plan should be documented if the surgeon considers one long sitting less safe.

Who this package is for

Surgeons usually consider adults close to a stable weight who still have a belt of stubborn fat around the midsection, whose skin can reasonably retract, and whose midface and jowl need a deeper plane than a mini. If the apron hangs or the midline has split, a tummy tuck is the conversation, not more suction on this quote. If the neck band is the only complaint, a necklift quote is the conversation. Smoking, when the team has asked you to stop, often pauses the date.

Send daylight photographs of the trunk — front, both sides and the back, standing, no filter — and of the face without make-up: front, both profiles, the neck and a three-quarter turn. Suitability is confirmed in Istanbul before anyone operates. Eyelids, fat grafting, a BBL or a sixpack etch in the same sitting are not assumed.

What sits outside the quote

VASER or post-liposuction medical massage is separate unless named. Over-suction or stretching the skin to chase a photograph is refused; that is a clinical limit, not an upsell.

Theatre, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul

Plan seven to ten nights in the city. That window covers the in-person assessment, the combined sitting, hospital nights, swelling checks, the garment, suture or staple removal and clearance to fly. Four hotel nights is too short for a deep-plane stay, with or without a 360 belt. The hospital stay sits inside those nights; it does not replace them. Leave room for an extra night if the team asks.

Theatre is under general anaesthetic. A 360 map plus a deep-plane field is a long clinic day; the expected time sits on the written plan. Discharge is signed by the surgeon — it is not an advertising date.

Recovery after you fly home

Wear the compression garment as shown. The first weeks also mean bruising in the face: sleep with the head raised if you were shown that, no gym, no heat on the trunk, no heavy bags, nothing that raises blood pressure in the face. Social recovery is often ten to fourteen days if the surgeon is happy, sometimes longer after a deep-plane field. Desk work often sits in that window. Harder exercise waits about four to six weeks, or longer if the discharge note says so. Trunk contour and the face both settle over months. None of that is a clothing-size or years-younger guarantee.

Red flags after you return — spreading redness, pus, a temperature that persists, sudden one-sided swelling, pain that is getting worse, wound edges that part, or breathlessness — mean a local clinician or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.

Is the main problem extra fat, extra skin or separated abdominal muscles, and which of those will this operation treat?

ASPS notes that when a large amount of fat is removed, extra skin can need a second operation. J-Plasma, also called Renuvion, aims to tighten skin with heat. Which areas will liposuction include, and what personal limits will stop or stage it?

ASPS says special planning is needed when more than five litres are usually suctioned. That figure is not a safe ceiling for every person. Blood in the aspirate, the fluid given, the lidocaine dose and the length of the anaesthetic can reduce the scope or split the session. How are a seroma, a wound opening or skin loss recognised and treated?

ASPS lists fluid collection, poor wound healing and heat injury among liposuction risks. A seroma is a wavy swelling under the incision. A small one may be absorbed. A collection that persists can be aspirated. One that is infected or threatening the skin is drained. A wound that opens, or skin that turns black, is a sign of tension, smoking, infection or a circulation problem. It is not a mark to close at home with a dressing. After I go home, who follows a wound problem or a suspected clot, and who pays for extra treatment?

The NHS asks people having cosmetic surgery abroad to settle in advance where reviews happen and what further surgery and a return journey cost. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. The NHS uses 5–7 days after liposuction or breast surgery, and 7–10 days after a tummy tuck, as planning windows before flying. How are bleeding, haematoma and nerve injury managed in a face, neck, brow or temple lift?

ASPS lists bleeding and facial-nerve weakness among facelift risks. No single tissue layer is better for everyone. A skin, SMAS or deep-plane operation is a different operation, and the nerve is at risk in a different place in each. The written plan should say which layer will be worked in. Haematoma is the facelift complication that most often means a return to theatre. A 2001–2013 meta-analysis found expanding haematoma in about 1.8% of cases, and the TOPS database in about 1.97%. About 90% of haematomas appear in the first 24 hours. A small collection can distort the contour. A large one can threaten the skin flap and, rarely, the airway. The treatment of a significant collection is to find the bleeding point and evacuate it. Opening stitches to relieve pressure has been described as a temporary step if evacuation is delayed. Uncontrolled blood pressure is a main risk. Cutting the facial nerve is rare. Weakness that continues after the anaesthetic wears off can come from a stitch, tension or cautery heat and may settle over days or weeks. Where will the incisions be, and how can the scar, hairline, ear shape or symmetry change?

ASPS lists a poor scar, temporary or permanent hair loss at the incision, asymmetry, and a visible distortion at the ends of the incision among facelift risks. Too much tension on the earlobe can pull it forward into what is sometimes called a pixie ear. The written plan should show the incision in the hair-bearing scalp, in front of the ear, behind the lobe and in the hair behind the ear. For the chin, ASPS describes an incision inside the mouth or in the skin under the chin. An intraoral incision leaves no external scar, and infection and contact between the implant and mouth bacteria are discussed separately. A submental incision leaves a short external scar. If vision changes, the eye will not close, the face becomes weak, or a haematoma develops after I go home, what happens and who pays?

The symptoms that need review without delay depend on the operation. After a face, neck, brow or temple lift: rapidly growing swelling on one side, pain, breathlessness or new facial weakness. After eyelid surgery: a lid that will not close, severe pain, an eye being pushed forward, or reduced vision. After facial fat injection: sudden loss of vision. ASPS lists blindness among eyelid-surgery risks, while describing it as very rare. A significant haematoma is treated by evacuation, as described above. Fat in a vessel needs emergency eye assessment. The NHS asks people to settle in writing, before cosmetic surgery abroad, where reviews happen, what further surgery and a return journey cost, and whether the clinic’s insurance covers the patient. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. Follow-up after an operation in the UK is the surgeon’s responsibility. Why do I have firm lumps after VASER 360 — could it be fibrosis?

Firmness, bruising and swelling can occur in the early weeks after liposuction, but a lump cannot be identified as fibrosis from a description or photograph alone. Healing changes, fluid or a contour irregularity are among the possibilities a clinician may need to assess. Contact the surgical team if a lump is worsening, unusually painful, red or warm, or is not following the recovery pattern they gave you; fever or rapidly increasing swelling also needs prompt review. Do not massage a new or concerning area unless your surgeon has told you to. ASPS liposuction recovery guidance describes firmness and advises contacting the surgeon when unsure.

Do I need lymphatic drainage massage after VASER 360?

No single massage schedule applies to everyone after VASER 360. Some plastic surgeons use lymphatic drainage massage in their recovery protocol, while others give different instructions; the treated area, operation and healing all matter. Ask the surgeon who will follow your recovery whether massage is recommended, when it may begin, who should perform it and which areas must be avoided. Do not book forceful or unsupervised massage on the assumption that it is essential. ASPS recovery commentary notes that surgeons’ instructions differ and describes massage as one approach used by some practices.

How long will I need to wear a compression garment after VASER 360?

A compression garment is commonly worn for several weeks after VASER 360, following the treating team’s discharge plan. The exact schedule depends on the areas treated and your healing. Confirm how many hours each day to wear it, when it can be removed for washing and whether the surgeon wants to review its fit. ASPS guidance for ultrasound-assisted liposuction says a surgeon may recommend a special garment and that recovery differs between people.

Can fat come back after VASER 360 if I gain weight?

Yes. VASER removes fat cells from treated areas, but it does not prevent future weight gain. Remaining fat cells can enlarge, and substantial weight gain can change the treated contour as well as other areas; this is not weight-loss surgery. The amount and distribution of change vary. ASPS explains fat return after liposuction; its ultrasound-assisted liposuction guidance likewise says removed fat cells are not recreated. Discuss major planned weight changes with the treating surgeon before setting expectations.

When will my stomach or waist look normal rather than swollen?

Initial swelling can obscure the waist contour for weeks, and it may take several months for swelling to settle and the shape to mature. Allow for early recovery over weeks while recognising that contour can continue settling for 3–6 months; neither period is a guaranteed date. Ask the treating surgeon to review swelling that is worsening or differs from the discharge guidance. ASPS liposuction results guidance also notes that swelling may take several months to dissipate.
