What a Hollywood smile with veneers package is
This stay covers a Hollywood smile made with dental veneers: twelve thin shells as named on the paper, usually the teeth that show when you speak. A veneer covers the front of a prepared tooth — colour and shape — without wrapping the whole crown like a full cap. It is not twelve crowns, not sixteen veneers on a whole arch, not All-on implants, not bleaching alone, and not a millimetre-perfect celebrity set from a photograph. Shade and material (often E-max or similar as written) belong on the plan. Temporary veneers sit between preparation and bonding unless the paper names a same-day CAD/CAM path.
The treating provider’s written plan should identify the dentist responsible for the twelve-veneer treatment, the teeth to be prepared and the try-in and bonding stages.
Who this package is for
Dentists usually consider adults whose visible teeth are sound enough for a conservative front facing, who want a more even colour and shape across the smile, and who accept that a thin layer of enamel is still reduced so the veneer can sit. If a tooth is heavily filled, cracked or already crowned, a full crown is often the conversation, not this page. If the arches have no teeth left, an All-on plan is the conversation. Untreated gum disease, an active abscess or a grind that has not been discussed often changes the map.
The date is often postponed if a root canal is still needed on a tooth in the plan, if a medical condition makes chair work less safe, or if the scan shows implants are required first. Send daylight photographs of your smile at rest and while speaking, plus any recent X-rays if you have them. Suitability is confirmed in Istanbul before anyone prepares a tooth. Extra veneers beyond the twelve, a mix of crowns, or sixteen units on one jaw are not assumed.
What sits outside this figure
Extra veneers beyond the twelve named, crowns instead of veneers, All-on implants, a root canal or extraction not named, whitening of teeth that stay natural, and a night-guard unless listed sit outside this figure unless they are named on the plan. Filing healthy teeth down to chase a social-media shade is refused if the dentist would rather bleach or leave them; that is a clinical limit, not an upsell.
Chair time, anaesthetic and nights in Istanbul
Plan five to seven days for the planned dental visits. That window covers assessment, preparation, a try-in and bonding; the dentist may schedule a review if shade or bite needs adjustment. Seven days is not a medical rule; three or four days may work with CAD/CAM if the dentist confirms the clinical plan. All-on treatment needing a second visit months later is a separate clinical plan.
The sittings are in the dental chair under local anaesthetic. This is outpatient dental care; it does not itself imply an overnight hospital admission. The treating dentist confirms when travel is appropriate. Sensitivity after bonding is common for a short while; the result is not guaranteed to match a photograph.
Recovery after you fly home
The first days can feel tight or sensitive to cold. Eat as shown; avoid very hard nuts on a new bite until the dentist is happy. Desk work is often possible the next day if you are comfortable. Cleaning around the veneer margins is taught in clinic. Shade can look brighter under clinic lights than at home; a small chair tweak is sometimes needed, not a second package.
Red flags after you return — spreading swelling, pus, a temperature that persists, a veneer that chips or comes off, or pain that is getting worse — mean a local dentist or A&E first, then your coordinator. Take the discharge note with you.
These notes answer questions people raise before they accept a written treatment plan. They describe what that plan should make clear. They are not a promise that any partner hospital uses a particular technique, device or payment arrangement. With your consent, an enquiry may be shared with an authorised healthcare partner.
How will decay and gum health be assessed before veneers or crowns?
Active periodontal disease means pocket depth, bleeding and bone support are recorded before veneer or crown preparation starts. Preparation of a tooth whose gum is still inflamed should not be treated as a routine step in the written plan.
How will new veneers or crowns affect my bite?
Contact with the opposing teeth should be checked before a veneer, crown or bridge is cemented. If you clench or grind, a night guard should be written separately from the first fee.
If a veneer or crown breaks, or infection appears after I go home, who follows that and who pays?
The NHS asks people treated abroad to get the cost of further treatment and a return journey in writing beforehand. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. A manufacturer’s record does not pay for a second flight or a replacement. This page does not say that any partner pays those items. Source: NHS advice on cosmetic surgery abroad.
If I have veneers removed, will my teeth go back to how they were?
Usually, a tooth does not return to its original state if enamel was removed to prepare it for a veneer. The amount of preparation varies by tooth and plan; some veneers need less enamel removal than others. A veneer may also chip, wear or loosen and need repair or replacement over time. Before agreeing, ask the dentist to show which teeth would be prepared, how much natural tooth structure is expected to be removed, and what the alternatives and future maintenance could involve. The American Dental Association’s veneer guidance explains that treatment is not reversible when enamel is removed.
Can I whiten my teeth after veneers?
Whitening can lighten natural teeth, but it does not change the shade of existing veneers or other tooth-coloured restorations. If natural teeth are bleached after veneers are fitted, their colour may no longer match the restorations. If you are planning a smile redesign, ask the dentist to assess your teeth and agree the order and target shade before treatment; do not start a whitening course on your own to try to match veneers. The American Dental Association’s guidance on whitening explains that bleaching affects natural teeth, not restorations.
