What an All-on 6 titanium bar hybrid full mouth package is

This stay is All-on-6 for both jaws: six implants in the upper arch and six in the lower, a milled titanium bar on each arch, then the hybrid teeth that screw to those bars — twelve fixtures, two bars and a full-mouth hybrid as named on the paper. It is not a single-jaw All-on-6, not All-on-4 with eight implants, not twenty-eight crowns without bars, and not veneers on teeth you still have. Osseointegration still takes months; a temporary you leave with after the first chair sitting is not the same as the hybrid on the bars unless that paper says they are fitted on the same trip.

The treating provider’s written plan should identify the clinician responsible for the planned implant placement and restoration, including crowns, bars or hybrids where applicable.

Two clinical visits are common unless the written plan names one. The first covers assessment, the scan, twelve implants and a temporary if named. Months later the second covers the two titanium bars, the hybrid teeth and the bite check. Each visit typically spans several nights around the chair work. The dentist may arrange a review if a stitch check or bar try-in needs attention.

How was the bone or sinus checked for an implant, All-on-4, All-on-6 or sinus lift, and why is a CBCT needed?

ADA and AAOMR guidance starts with the clinical examination, then imaging. A CBCT is used when a two-dimensional film cannot show the bone height and width, the nerve canal or the sinus floor that the plan needs. It is not a routine scan for everyone. Will I be given the implant brand, model and a record I can keep?

The FDA asks patients to ask which brand and model will be used and to keep that record. The implant body, the abutment and the screw are separate parts. How will a new crown or prosthesis affect my bite and chewing force?

The FDA lists a bite that does not feel normal, and an abutment screw that loosens so the tooth seems to twist, among implant risks. If I develop an infection, lose an implant or break a prosthesis after I go home, who follows that and who pays?

The FDA asks you to tell the dentist without delay if an implant is loose or painful. The NHS asks people treated abroad to get the cost of further treatment and a return journey in writing beforehand. Travel insurance usually does not cover surgical complications. Will I have fixed teeth on the day of All-on-6 surgery?

Not necessarily. The temporary prosthesis may be fixed or removable, depending on the plan and what the dentist finds during surgery. Can I remove my All-on-6 bridge to clean underneath it?

Only if your planned teeth are removable. A fixed bridge stays in place, and cleaning around and beneath it can be more challenging. A removable implant denture is taken out to clean the supporting parts. The temporary and final designs may differ, so ask the dental team to show you how to clean the prosthesis planned for each stage and explain its maintenance.
